Felicity de FombelleA big WELCOME to you and your family!

Mums and Dads are heroes.  It’s such a huge responsibility to raise children and I’ve got nothing but praise for parents doing the best they can, day in, day out, given the huge pressures and challenges they face.

As a Mum, Dad, grandparent, foster parent or carer, you deserve all the help you can get and that’s why we’re here.

Here at ‘My Family, My Faith’, we are passionate about encouraging, supporting and strengthening families; about helping them to raise wonderful kids and celebrate their achievements, because what you do with your kids, every single day, is incredible and deserves praise.

  • My Family, My Faith is an attractive and engaging publication intended to reach a broad group of Catholic families. I am pleased to lend my support to this very worthwhile initiative. The publication's emphasis on Catholic families sharing their stories is a positive way of engaging in the very important work of evangelisation in and through the family. I extend my best wishes to the editorial team in their efforts to broaden and improve the publication's appeal and outreach.
Yours sincerely, Cardinal George Pell (Archbishop of Sydney)

  • Thank you for the latest edition of My Family, My Faith. It is a warm and colourful contribution to Catholic family life.
With love and blessings, Fr Gerard Dowling, Fitzroy, VIC. (CatholicCare)

  • My Family, My Faith records the experiences of families and is of great value in encouraging families to live fully their Christian life. I am very enthusiastic about it. I recommend it to your consideration for use in your parish and community.
Yours sincerely in Christ, Archbishop Denis Hart (Archbishop of Melbourne and President of the Australian Catholic Bishops Conference)

  • One of my wife's friends was raving on about your newsletter this week, saying how great it is, without knowing we knew the editor. She received it via her kids' school. We read the newsletter within a day or two of receiving it - it is an easy read and very engaging and enjoyable.
    Jeremy, father of three, Canberra.

  • My children go to the Catholic school at Goulburn and I have just finished reading My Family, My Faith from cover to cover. For the church and family life in 2012, it really hits the mark. I just thought it was wonderful. We all whinge and carry on when we're not happy which is why I thought I should tell you what a great publication it is. Everything that everyone said I could relate to. It's not often that I sit down to read something cover to cover.
    Elizabeth, mother of four, Goulburn

  • I love the concept of your family newsletter and would love to receive it. Whatever you do make it meaty and real and don't fall into the trap of selling your readers short. Good luck.
    Kevin, father of eight, Melbourne.

  • Just wanted to send my congratulations on the launch of the new family magazine. Well done to you all on a great initiative. Best wishes,
    Jonathan, father of three, Canberra

  • This is an excellent initiative and part of the fightback to strengthen and restore family and faith, which is so desperately needed. Keep up the good work.
    Lyle, father of four, Canberra

  • I was very impressed by the great newsletter I picked up last weekend called My Family, My Faith. Well done and what a fantastic resource for parents of children who attend Catholic schools. In my role I often have parents asking me all sorts of questions and this newsletter seems to be exactly the type of information and ideas that they are looking for.
    Sylvia, Page, ACT

  • I feel that this newsletter will go a long way to building a better relationship between family life, the school and the parish. Thanks,
    Denise. Gundagai

  • Thanks for sending My Family, My Faith. My wife loved it!! and has read it from cover to cover. I have been instructed to read the "Dad's Perspective" article before going to bed ;) It is great that you have received a lot of positive feedback. My wife wants to pass it on to some friends to read. How can people outside Canberra subscribe to it?
    Matt, father of five, Melbourne.
